The invention relates to an arrangement for damping electrical oscillations in high-voltage windings of transformers, inductor coils and the like, in which the core has looped around it moulded elements, especially bindings, which consist at least partially of electrically conductive material. At least some of the electrically conductive moulded elements, which are insulated with respect to the core, are electrically conductively connected to one another such that the operating voltages induced in them add up to approximately zero, but the electromagnetic fields which occur in the event of oscillating loads (triggered, for example, by switch operations) in the windings of a transformer cause a current in the moulded elements and the connecting lines which forces said fields out of the core. <IMAGE>
