PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for intricate load control of a bending cylinder by providing alternately bending cylinders to the right and left bearings of upper and lower work rolls thereby making the distance from the center of a mill to the right and left bending always equal. CONSTITUTION:The A, B from the center of a mill up to right and left bending cylinders 5 are always equal even if upper and lower work rolls 1, 2 shift alternately in an axial center direction. The need for intricate load contral of bending cylinders 5, 5 is thus eliminated in the case of performing shape control or performing snaking control by using the cylinders 5, 5. The similar effect is obtained when the vertical and lateral constitution is reversed or when this method is employed for a rolling mill of a double chock bending mill. |
