Device for printing photographic webs in paper developing machines consisting of a driven pressure roller with a plurality of mutually adjacent paper webs, a number of counterpressure cylinders, which number corresponds to the number of paper webs, a printing mechanism carrier and a roller which rotates with the pressure roller and which transfers the ink to the pressure roller, in which the pressure roller employed is a rubber roller, into which a number of spur gears, which number corresponds to the number of paper webs, is let in in countersunk manner, which spur gears drive, via a gear set, the roller employed to transfer the ink. The roller employed to transfer the ink carries the printing block and is employed as drive roller for a set of friction wheels, which is employed as drive for the ink transfer roller. The printing block carrier roller and the inking mechanism are combined into a printing mechanism, which is mounted on a printing mechanism carrier so as to be removable and finely adjustable against the pressure roller. The printing mechanism is mounted so as to be pivotable about a releasable shaft on the printing mechanism carrier, an adjusting bolt which is likewise pivotably mounted in the printing mechanism carrier being provided, which is employed as carrier of an adjusting screw and of a spring, which are supported from opposite sides against a shackle of the printing mechanism. The counterpressure rollers can be lifted off from the pressure roller by means of magnet-actuated lifting beams and can be locked in the lifted position.
