PURPOSE:To make a wire electrode feedable outside up to a specified position without fail, by certainly feeding the specified position with the wire electrode so as to pierce the electrode through a workpiece. CONSTITUTION:Operating a roller mechanism 22 and a wire electrode delivery mechanism on top of a slider 16, tension in a tension mechanism 80 is controlled again, then a wire electrode 38 is fed to the inside of a pipe guide 36, pierced through the inside of an electrode guide 72, while the tip end part of the wire electrode is sandwiched between delivery rollers 76a and 76b of a wire electrode delivery mechanism and fed out of these rollers. Next, the wire electrode's tip end part is guided by a guide 76c and a guide pipe 78f and discharged outside a system by means of following delivery rollers 79d and 79e. At this time, since each diameter of these delivery rollers 76a, 76b, 79d and 79e is formed to be identical or almost the same, bending and distortion in the wire electrode 38 is correctable. Accordingly, the fine wire electrode 38 is in no case clogged inside the guide 76c and the guide pipe 76f, thus it is smoothly going out for feeding. |
