In a circuit arrangement for connecting and disconnecting a supply voltage to a and from a load, respectively, particularly to a and from a microprocessor, respectively, a voltage measuring device (M) is used for measuring the supply voltage and for outputting a control signal in the case where the supply voltage reaches a predetermined first voltage value (U1). The control signal is used for controlling a self-latching output circuit (T1, T2) from the blocked state to a self-latching state. In the self-latching state, this output circuit (T1, T2) forwards the supply voltage to the load; it measures the supply voltage supplied to the load and then passes back to the blocked state when the supply voltage occurs with a predetermined second voltage value (U3) which is below the said first voltage value (U1). <IMAGE>
