PURPOSE:To edit various pictures easily and accurately, by displaying successively indicating procedures of indicated information of picture information due to an indicating means. CONSTITUTION:When a console part 200 as the indicating means of an editing station part 400 of a picture processing information generating unit 1 is operated, indication information of picture information is generated, and write and read of digital picture information based on the original read from a reader part 500 to a disc memory 90, information obtained by editing this information, digital picture information due to long-distance and short-distance communication devices forming interfaces 50 and 70 are controlled through an editing station control part 450 to edit various picture information. In this case, picture information are displayed on a CRT 300 through the control part 450 in accordance with indication procedures based on indication information of the console part 200. Thus, various pictures are edited easily and surely in the picture processing device where picture processings and short-distance and long-distance communications of picture information are performed easily and quickly. |
