An installation for recovery of heat from the hot gas flow of a waste heat generator for heating a medium flowing in a consumer circuit, with interposition of heat exchangers. The heat exchangers are flowed through by a heating water circuit for heating heating water and/or, separately from the heating water circuit, by a service water circuit for heating service water. Such an installation renders superfluous the hot water storage cylinder which is otherwise necessary.
