<p>An apparatus for rescuing a person emprisoned in an avalanche comprises an untearable balloon (1) bound to a support secured to the body. Upon the rescuing action, the balloon is inflated by means of a pressure gas so as to maintain the support at the surface of the avalanche as a sustantation body. The apparatus further comprises a filling apparatus (2) to which one or a plurality of pressure gas bottles (3) is or are directly secured, the filling apparatus being connected to the inside of the balloon (1) by a nozzle valve operating according to the venturi principle. The filling opening of the balloon (1) is fixed to a collar (4) of a rigid frame (5) wherein the filling apparatus (2) is arranged and to which are attached directly or indirectly straps (6) connected to the support. </p> |
