Heating oil battery tank is put together from 2 half shells with flanged edges. Between these edges, on each side, a sheet metal strip is placed which has regularly spaced apertures, pref. longitudinal slits. The slits of both sides lie opposite, and a hinged tie bar of given flexural stiffness, bent at its ends and serving as a safety element, engages two opposite apertures. |
