PURPOSE:To permit to control an outdoor machine surely in case an abnormality is generated in an outdoor side control unit by amethod wherein main switches for big current are provided in both of indoor and outdoor side control units and the outdoor side main switch is cut in the indoor side control unit when the abnormality is caused in the outdoor side control unit. CONSTITUTION:When an A.C. electric source is connected to electric source terminals 24, 24' and the indoor side control unit 15 is driven, the main switch 20 for the indoor machine is put ON by the output port OUTA of a micro-computer 9 and a voltage is impressed to the main switch 21 for the outdoor machine. The micro-computer 8 receives a signal from the output port OUTB of the micro-computer 9 at the input port IN3 thereof and outputs the signal from the output port OUT1 thereof to put ON the main sitch 21 through a signal amplifying circuit 25 if there is no problem in the condition of the outdoor machine. Thereafter, the signal is rectified through a power factor improving reactor L1 and rectifiers D1-D4, smoothed by a smoothing capacitor C1 and, then, a D.C. voltage is suppling to an invertor 23. |
