PURPOSE:To enable measurement with high sensitivity without deteriorating a sample even if a light source having high radiation luminance is used by disposing a sample cell between a wavelength dispersion element and an exit slit. CONSTITUTION:A flow type sample cell 10 is disposed just before a photodiode array 5, and the light component except a measuring wavelength region is not made incident to the sample. Only the light after dispersion is made incident to each point of the sample. If a light source having high luminance is used for a light source 1, the energy of the light per unit sectional area which is made incident to each point of the sample is small and does not deteriorate the sample even if the radiation luminance at each wavelength increases. Transparent quartz plates 21, 21' are melt stuck to a cell body 20 made of black quartz in an example of a flow type liquid crystal cell, wherein the section perpendicular to the optical axis is rectangular and only the light of the measuring wavelength region after dispersion passes the cell. |
