PURPOSE:To expand and contract the image of an original continuously at an optional magnification, to extract an optional area and to move the area to an optional place, by projecting reflected light to be the image of the origional to a photoelectrical converting element to obtain the image of the original as an electric signal. CONSTITUTION:An original on an original glass 3 is pressed by an original cover 4. The original is irradiated by a fluorescent lamp 2 and the reflected light is focused on the surface of a CCD 1 through mirrors 5, 7 and a lens 6. The mirrors 7 and 5 move at the relative speeds of 2:1. Said optical unit moves from left to right at a fixed speed while applying PLL by a DC servo motor. A picture signal is inputted to a laser scanning optical system unit 25 in a printer. Laser light from the unit 25 is made incident to a photoreceptor 8 through a mirror 24. |
