PURPOSE:To make continuous enlargement/reduction of an original image to optional magnification, extraction of an optional area, movement of an area to another area, and multifunctional image processings where these three functions are combined possible, by converting the image of the original, which is projected to a photoelectric transducer, to an electric signal and processing this signal with a circuit means and a soft means. CONSTITUTION:A CPU discriminates minimum values of coordinate values (x) and (y) in main scanning and subscanning directions of coordinate values of a trimming area and defines them as x0 and y0. The CPU discriminates minimum coordinate values in (x) and (y) directions out of coordinate values of the edited area and defines them as x1 and y1. A preset value A3 of the read start address in a read address counter which is read out from a shift memory is discriminated on a basis of x0, a magnification, and x1, and a time L1-L2 from generation of a PRINT.START signal to start of an optical system is discriminated on a basis of y0, a magnification, and y1. A number M of lines between change points in the subscanning direction is calculated on a basis of coordinate values of the trimming area and the magnification, and preset values of start and end bit counters at the change point are calculated on a basis of x-direction coordinate values after editing and are set. |
