PURPOSE:To make large a torsional angle and a hysteresis to absorb noise and vibration, by forming either one of a rotary member (hub) coupled with a drive shaft and another rotary member (disc plate) coupled with a driven shaft, in a shape having polygonal surface and as well forming the other one in a shape having a circular surface, and by disposing resilient blocks in a space defined both rorary members. CONSTITUTION:A drive side hub 1 are disposed, at its outer peripheral part, between a disc plate 3 concentric with the drive side hub 1 and a subplate 4 secured to the disc plate 3, and these plates define therebetween a space 5 into which resilient block members 7 are disposed so that they are made into contact with the outer peripheral surface 2 of the hub 1 and as well the inner circumferential surface 6 of the subplate 4. When the rotational speed of the damper disc is low, the hub 1 is twisted so that the reilient block members 7 roll and are subjected to compression. The resilient block members 7 offer low rigidity and less hysteresis upon begining of twisting. However, the rigidity of the resilient block members 7 gradually increases to increase the torsional angle thereof so that the hysteresis also increase, thereby vibration and noise may be absorbed. |
