PURPOSE:To attain high function of a card so as to execute high speed count operation by providing a CPU to the card forming the input/output section to a sequence controller. CONSTITUTION:An input/output card 1 is provided with a CPU3 connected to an ROM4, and buffers 5, 6. This buffer 5 is a buffer for input and output signal of an external device, and the buffer 6 is a buffer receiving a signal of a sequence controller 2 itself. Further, the input/output card 1 and the controller 2 receive and give a command signal and a status signal via a data bus 7. In receiving the command signal, the input/output card 1 executes a prescribed operation. Thus, the input/output card is formed into high function so as to execute high speed count operation. |
