PURPOSE:To eliminate damage to a medium due to a magnetic head, and to raise reliability of a device by reducing an interval of each of a pair of magnetic heads at the time of a seeking operation so that a speed of a moment in which the magnetic head contacts with the medium becomes slow. CONSTITUTION:First, in an unloading state, moving arms 7a, 7b are expanded by an operation of faces 9a, 9b of a cam 9, magnetic heads 6a, 6b become a state separated from a medium, also a door mechanism interlocked with an arm mechanism 15 is opened, and in a state that the medium can be attached and detached, a lever 21 fitted to the arm mechanism 15 is pushed up in the upper direction, and following it, a moving stopper 22 is also pushed up in the upper direction. Subsequently, in a state that the medium 14 is pushed in and the medium is pressed against a spindle head 2 by operating the arm mechanism 15, the lever 21 attached to the arm mechanism 15 moves downward since a lever 5 is depressed, and following it, the moving stopper 22 also moves in the lower direction A. As a result, the cam 9 rotates by a prescribed angle against its initial state. In this case, the moving arms 7a, 7b operate so as to approach each other as the cams 9a, 9b move. |
