PURPOSE:To obtain a fluid bearing cylinder device which is of thin type and excellent in portable performance by combining a spiral group whose diameter is small, a thrust-direction fluid bearing which balances absorptivity of a permanent magnet operating in the direction opposite to said group, a radial direction fluid bearing which forms a shaft as a fixed shaft of cantilever supporting and enlarges dimensions of the group, a cylindrical rotary transformer, and a scattering preventive means of a lubricating agent, which utilizes the surface tension of the lubricating agent and a wet preventing agent. CONSTITUTION:The upper face of a fixed shaft 22 is finished at right angles to the shaft and flatly. A spiral group whose diameter is at least below the diameter of the fixed shaft is worked by etching, etc. on the lower face of a thrust bearing 24, and when a motor is powered on and starts its rotation, a rotary unit 40 is floated up in the direction U and is rotated by a pumping action of the group. Also, total force by which a permanent magnet such as an armature magnet 33, etc. attracts an iron printed board, and empty weight of the rotary side unit 40 is applied in the direction D. Accordingly, when this fluid bearing cylinder device is placed in a vertical state, it is floated up and its rotating position is stable. |
