PURPOSE:To increase the flow path area thus to enlarge the valve capacity while to straighten the flow thus to perform safe and reliable valve control and to prevent cavitation and noise by extending a tubular wall for forming a plurality of slits in comb shape in the longitudinal direction at one end of a valve seat ring facing with a valve body. CONSTITUTION:A valve seat ring 20 to be mounted on an opening 7 made through a partition wall 6 in a valve body 1 has such shape as provided with tubular walls 21, 22 at both ends while a plurality of slits 23 are formed in comb shape in the longitudinal direction with predetermined interval in the circumferential direction. The inner diameter of the tubular wall 21 extending to the valve body 9 side is formed slightly longer than the outer diameter of the valve body 9 to enable seating of the valve body 9 in the seat section 20a of the valve seat ring 20. Since narrow flow path is formed by a plurality of slits 23, the rotary component of fluid flowing into the valve can be straightened while the flow path area can be increased to enlarge the valve capacity. |
