PURPOSE:To make it possible to sufficiently correct the dynamic imbalance of a tire in a state mounted to an actual car within a short time, by allowing the vibration characteristic of the tire in a state mounted on the actual car on the basis of the dynamic imbalance of the tire to be approximate to linearily. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 9 is held between small caliber semi-cylindrical parts 3 by opposing split pieces 2, 2 to each other and a cylinder 10 is held between large caliber semi-cylindrical parts 4. A bolt 11 is inserted in a bolt hole 6 and tightened to integrated the piston rod 9 and the cylinder 10 and a shock absorber 8 is fixed to bring the characteristic of a suspension supporting a tire to non-linearity near to a linear characteristics. In this state, the tire is rotated to measure a vibration level and a correction wt. is mounted so as to bring the vibration level A to zero. Thereafter, the vibration level is measured again and, by repeatedly performing this operation, residual imbalance quantity can be allowed to approach zero as near as possible.
