PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of indexing a rotor for a motor winding machine by rockably installing an arm lever having a projection engaged with a slot at the end thereof, rocking the lever upon movement of a rotor conveyor and exactly indexing the rotor while moving the rotor. CONSTITUTION:The same number of winding units 3-3'' as that of slots of the rotor 1 are aligned, and coils are wound in the slots different sequentially for the rotor 1 conveyed intermittently by a conveyor 24. A rotor indexing unit 4 is provided between the respective winding units 3-3'', thereby indexing the slot corresponding to the next winding unit. The unit 4 is provided rockably with the arm lever 43 at the top of the supporting member 41, and with a suspending piece 44 and a friction part 45 provided at the end. The lever 43 is coupled directly to the operating arm lever 46 at the lower part thereof. As the rotor 1 is moved, the cam 26 is engaged with the lever 46 and the lever 46 is thus rotated. Accordingly, the lever 43 is also rotated, with the result that the rotor is rotated by the amount corresponding to one slot. |
