PURPOSE:To improve the film characteristics of a laminate type electrophotographic receptor and to provide high sensitivity by using a specified polyacrylate resin as a binder resin contained in the charge generating layer of the receptor. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic receptor is manufactured by forming a charge generating layer and a charge transferring layer on an electrically conductive support. At this time, a polyacrylate resin represented by the formula (where R is methyl or ethyl) is used as a binder resin in the charge generating layer contg. a disazo compound. The resulting receptor has almost satisfactory mechanical strength, high sensitivity and favorable characteristics in repeated use. |
