PURPOSE:To feed continuously plural pieces of floppy disks by one piece each and so as not to break without spoiling a recording characteristics, by feeding it automatically onto a feed base to which one piece is fetched successively by a one piece fetching device. CONSTITUTION:A one piece fetching device 34 moves a pair of rubber adsorbers 37 communicating to a vacuum source 36 so as to be opposed to a feed base 31 by an adsorber operating mechanism (not shown in the figure) utilizing a link mechanism, or so as to be opposed to a floppy disk fed part 19 of a carrying path 21, adsorbes in a vacuum and fetches successively a floppy disk 1 of the feed base 31 by one piece each, and feeds it to the floppy disk fed part 19 in a horizontal state. In case when the holding quantity of the floppy disks 1... on the feed base 31 runs low, they are replenished from a replenishing device 40 by a signal from a position detector of a backup body 32, and a fetching operation from the feed base 31 by the one piece fetching device 34 does not interrupted. |
