PURPOSE:To prevent scattering of a toner for toner supply by attaching a tapered flexible hose to an aperture of a cover of a toner supply vessel for a copying machine or the toner supply vessel itself. CONSTITUTION:A toner supply vessel 1 is so formed that an inside cover 5 to which the hose is not attached is used at the transportation time or the like for the purpose of keeping it compact and the cover 5 is replaced with an inside cover 3 to which a tapered flexible hose 4 is attached at the toner supply time. Two flexible films 8 are shaped with a downward spike state and are brought into contact with each other near the center to form a flexible cover 9. The hose 4 is inserted to the part, where flexible films 8 are brought into contact with each other, to open flexible films 8 to the left and the right, and a toner 2 is supplied into a toner vessel 7. In this case, since flexible films 8 are opened only to a width corresponding to the width of the hose 4, the toner 2 is not scattered to the outside. When the toner supply is terminated and the insertion aperture of the toner supply vessel 1 is removed, flexible films 8 are restored automatically and are brought into contact with each other again, and thus, a partial toner 10 floating in the toner vessel 7 is not scattered to the outside. |
