摘要 PURPOSE:To provide easy adjustability for gear meshing, by constructing a speed change mechanism in such a way as possible to be borne by bearings, and arranging so as to be coupled with other speed change mechanisms when mounted on the transmission case by fitting its bearing member therein, and thereby provisionally assembling the speed change mechanism to the bearing member prior to the main assembly operation. CONSTITUTION:A speed change mechanism H and another one L are installed in the front transmission case 1 and rear transmission case 2, respectively, by bearing with a box-shaped bearing member 3, which is fitted internally. The front part of a speed change shaft of a speed change mechanism B to be installed internally on the bearing member 3 is borne by a bearing 21 at the back part of No.1 speed change shaft 12 while the rear part of said shaft by another bearing 22 at the bearing lid 23 for the bearing member 3. The front part of a drive pinion 41 of the above-mentioned speed chanbe mechanism L is borne at the back part of a speed change shaft 20 while the rear part thereof at the back wall 2b of the rear transmission case 2. Thus the speed change mechanism L can be fitted internally in the transmission case with the condition held that it is assembled provisionally to the bearing member 3.
