PURPOSE:To improve traveling performance, drive feeling, and meandering fuel consumption efficiency by installing a unidirectional clutch between a speed change gear for the first speed advance and an output shaft, thus permitting predetermined traveling and eliminating the shock in speed change to the second speed. CONSTITUTION:A unidirectional clutch 29 operates in the first speed advance, and the first speed cone part 23e of an inner lace is engaged with the flange part 10d of the first speed gear 10 of an outerlace and revolved in the reverse direction to the engine revolution. In the speed change from the first speed advance to the second speed, the revolution number of an output shaft 9 increases through disconnection of the first clutch 7 and connection of the second clutch 18, and the power is transmitted from a sleeve 23a to the cone part 23e. The unidirectional clutch 29 does not operate, since the revolution number of the cone part 23b which revolves reversely to the engine is larger than that of the flange part 10d which revolves in the same direction and the cone part 23e is idle- revolved, and the power is not transmitted to the gear 10. Therefore, the first input shaft 2 continues smooth revolution, and shock is not generated. In meander traveling, reverse transmission of power is suppressed similarly, and fuel consumption efficiency can be improved. |
