PURPOSE:To clean a video head in a picture recording or reproducing state by projecting a lever which is rotated and displaced in relation to a movement of an operating mechanism of a video tape recorder, to the front of a case, and also fitting a pad for wiping the video head to the tip. CONSTITUTION:In a non-operating state, a pin 9 is obstructed from rotating to the left outside by force of a spring 10 since the tip of its lever 8 is made to press-contact with a post 5 being in a non-loading state. When the post 5 starts a loading operation simultaneously with turn-on of an electric power source, the pin 9 rotates counterclockwise to the left outside against elasticity of the spring 10, and also rotates simultaneously a cleaning lever 17 counterclockwise. In this case, since a spring 19 is formed more weakly than the spring 10, the cleaning lever 17 rotates counterclockwise as the pin 9 rotates, and simultaneously, a cleaning pad 16 of the tip contacts along the outside circumferential surface of a cylinder 1, the tip of a rotating video head is made to press-contact by moderate elastic force, and cleaning is executed. |
