PURPOSE:To raise the execution efficiency of a system by the page control system of an address space with a virtual page ID in case when an input program is small and can be processed on a core. CONSTITUTION:The page ID3 of a virtual address space 1 is used as a virtual ID (virtual TTR) and a real page ID (real TTR) is derived from a real address table 4 when an input and an output become necessary to make a core page corresponded to a spill page. The real page ID, namely, an address 3''' of an external storage device 2 consists of three bytes, and a virtual ID3'' is realized by making the third byte has a specified large value which does not exist with said address. Also, the index of a real address table is shown by the first and the second byte. While an output operation is not required for the external storage device 2, the virtual page IDs 3', 3'' are used, and when input/output operations become necessary, the address of the external storage device 2 is known from the real address table 4. |
