PURPOSE:To shorten an assembling time, to improve position accuracy, and to simplify an assembling work, by forming and sticking a weldable metallic layer onto a slider, and joining the metallic layer and a slider supporting member by means of welding. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic element part 4 is provided on one end face 11 of a slider 1 consisting of a magnetic material such as ferrite, etc., and a lower face 12 is opposed to a face of a magnetic disk. A weldable metal, for instance, a pure metal such as copper, nickel, etc. or other alloy, etc. is stuck 5 and formed on an upper face 13 by means of vapor-deposition, metalicon, plating, etc. An important part of gimbals is placed on a metallic layer 5, both of them are positioned by a jig, welding by a laser or an electronic beam, etc. is executed, and the metallic layer 5 and a supporting arm part of the gimbals 2 are joined. |
