Selective liquid stream exchange

Exchange involves sepn. or exchange of gases, low mol. non-ionic components or liquid stream components convertible to these by an appropriate preliminary reaction. The method is partic. useful in continuous quantitative analysis of a liquid stream. A selectively permeable membrane is used which is impermeable to the electrolytic reagent and a recipient liquid stream is conducted along the other side of this side.
