PURPOSE:To diagnose suitably and quickly a failure, by storing sequentially the operating process of each section until the failure is generated and reproducing the stored operating process. CONSTITUTION:An interface 17 converts a signal representing the operating state of each part of a sequence controller to be supplied into binary data. This binary data is stored sequentially in a memory 23 based on an output signal of a step pulse generating circuit 18 outputting a timing signal at each change of the binary data. When a failure signal is inputted to a stop terminal 13, the storage operation of a memory 23 is stopped with an output of an address counter 26. Then, in reading out the memory 23 successively, the binary data is displayed on a data display device 3 and an address is displayed on an address display device 2, respectively. The diagnosis of failure is performed suitably and quickly by analyzing the display content of each display. |
