COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE SILVER HALIDE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To obtain a color photographic sensitive silver halide material giving a cyan dye image with superior shelf stability by color development by incorporating a 2,5-diacylaminophenol type cyan coupler having a specified substituent in the phenol ring. CONSTITUTION:This color photographic sensitive silver halide material contains a 2,5-diacylaminophenol type cyan coupler having a benzamide group having chlorine atoms substituted at the 2- and 6-positions as a substituent at the 2- position of the phenol ring. The cyan coupler includes 2,5-diacylaminophenol represented by the formula (where A is a group substitutable for a member of the benzene ring; R is a group enough to provide diffusion resistance in a slilver halide emulsion; Z is H or a group which can be eliminated in a coupling reaction with the oxidized product of a color developing agent; and n is 0 or 1-3).
