PURPOSE:To allow a mirror fitted to a tip of an arm to project to over a road only when used by moving the mirror forward and backward automatically by a driving motor. CONSTITUTION:When a start switch 1 is pressed, the mirror holding arm 6 is moved out forward by the driving motor 2 through a bevel gear 4, spur gear 4, and gear angle 5 which moves forward and backward since the arm 6 is fixed to the gear angle 5, so that the mirror 7 attached to a tip projects out over the road. The gear angle element 5 moves forth along a left and a right lateral channel-shaped rail 8 as tracks. When an L-shaped insulating plate 9 attached to the rear end of the gear angle 5 is inserted into the contacting plate of a switch 10, power feeding by the switch 10 is cut off to stop the driving motor 2 and at the same time, the gear angle 5 also stops; and the gear angle 5 is moved back by the reversing of the driving motor 5 the set time of a timer later. |
