PURPOSE:To provide the titled gear wherein screw pitches at both ends of a lead screw are set to be different from each other, and the mass of a counterweight is set to be larger than that of a carriage unit in accordance with the screw pitch ratio so that a load on a motor for driving both of them can be reduced. CONSTITUTION:Of the lead screw 1, the pitch Pa of a screw 2 and the pitch Pb of a screw 3 are so set that Pa>Pb, and the mass of the counterweight 4 relative to that of the carriage unit is determined in accordance with ratio of the screw pitches. The carriage unit is constituted of slidable blocks 12, 16, printing heads 20, 21, 22 and a shuttle bar 19. Accordingly, moment of inertia can be reduced. |
