PURPOSE:To make a slurry concn. manually or automatically adjustable to make transport efficient, by providing a small propeller driven at a low speed attached to the bottom part in an arranged pipe and an apparatus for detecting torque to detect the slurry precipitation layer in the arranged pipe. CONSTITUTION:A place where slurry particles are easily accumulated is selected on the way of an arranged pipe 2 for transporting a slurry and a detecting apparatus consisting of a small propeller 8 rotated at a low speed by a small electromotor 5 and a detector 4 is provided thereto. In this mechanism, when the particle concn. of the slurry on the bottom part in the arranged pipe becomes high and particles begin to accumulate, the rotation of the propeller 8 becomes heavy and rotary torque is increased while the rotary number is also reduced. These changes are detected by the detector 4 to be transmitted to the alarm apparatus 6 in a control chamber. By this method, the slurry concn. is adjusted manually or automatically and slurried mineral resources can be efficiently transported. |
