<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to display only a latest echo image in an easily viewable manner, by mutually using two image memroies. CONSTITUTION:The echo signal S1 of a radar and a scanning sonar is subjected to interference removal, the suppression of sea level reflection and the suppression of rain and snow reflection in a treating part 1 to be quantized and the treated signal is inputted to a coordinates converting part 2 corresponding to a read signal S2 while the output thereof is converted to X-Y coordinates in a treating part 7 on the basis of a reduced scale including the position of an own vessel position calculated from the position information S3 from a navigation apparatus on a picture and the compensation of a marine chart and the address of image memory corresponding to the picture is further formed. The echo signal subjected to coordinates conversion is written in image memory 3 and read by a read signal S4 to be supplied to a display device 5. In the next step, when the own vessel position is moved, the echo signal is written in image memory 4 and read by the signal 4 to be supplied to the display device 5. One of memories is stopped when the other memory is subjected to write/read operation.</p> |
