PURPOSE:To provide the titled device capable of preventing deterioration of an ink sheet including breakage or the like of the ink sheet, wherein a frictional transmitting mechanism is provided between a tension roller and a unidirectionally rotating drive source for driving the tension roller and an ink sheet take- out roller. CONSTITUTION:A feeding passage unit U1 for a recording sheet S is provided with shafts 110, 113, 121, 120, 126, and the shaft 110 is driven directly by a unidirectionally rotating driving motor. A gear 272 is firmly fitted on a shaft 271 for the tension roller 27 provided in a feeding passage unit U2 for the ink sheet I, and a gear 301 is firmly fitted on a shaft for the take-up roller 30. The unit U2 is brought to a position close to the unit U1, a gear 122 is engaged to the gear 272, and a gear 125 is engaged to the gear 301. A pulley 116 and a gear 118 are frictionally coupled to each other by a disk 117, and when a load of not lower than a predetermined value is exerted on the roller 27, the gear 118 slips relatively to the disk 117, so that not any excessive tension will be applied by the tension roller 27. |
