PURPOSE:To obtain the titled metal lid which is processed so that rust is hard to be generated at the edges of its opening by such an arrangement wherein the adhesion of a plastic film for covering the edge of an opening formed at the panel portion of the metal lid is carried out in an atmosphere of nitrogen gas. CONSTITUTION:For example, a piece of tape 5 is pasted to the outer surface of the panel portion 2 of a metal lid 1 to cover an opening 4 formed on the panel, so that it can be peeled off later, and the lid 1 is placed on an anvil 11. Next, the vicinity of the opening 4 is enclosed by an atmosphere of nitrogen gas 4 which is blown to the opening 4, and under this condition, an inner surface tape pasting tool 12 is pushed down, and the adhesive layer 6b of a plastic film 6, which is pasted to the bottom 12b of the pasting tool 12 in advance, is caused to adhere to the adhesive layer 5a of the piece of tape 5 and to such a portion 2a, which becomes the inner surface of the vicinity of the opening 4 on the panel portion 2, and by this processing, the titled metal lid wherein the inner surface of the panel portion 2 in the vicinity of the opening 4 and the edge of the opening 4 are covered by the plastic film 6 can be obtained. |
