PURPOSE:To provide the titled recording medium exellent in preservability and heat sensitivity and capable of being repeatedly used, wherein a microporous layer including a continous layer heat-fusible substance and a heat mode chelating compound and a receiving layer comprising a metal capable of being colored through chelating are provided on a base. CONSTITUTION:A composition containing, in a dissolved or dispersed state, a binding resin, a heat-fusible substance 32 immiscible to the resin, a heat-fusible substance functioning as a solvent of the resin and a heat mode chelating compound having a conjugated pi bond capable of forming at least a didentate chelate is applied onto the base 1. Then, the solvent is evaporated off whereby a heat transfer sheet 8'' comprising the microporous layer 6 of the binding resin including therein the econtinuous layer 2 comprision the heat-fusible substance and the heat mode chelating compound is provided on the base 1, and the receiving layer 7' comprising metallic cations (Me) 31 capable of forming a colored substance through chelating with the chelating compound is provided thereon. |
