<p>PURPOSE:To effectively transfer the information read out from a recording medium to a host side by transferring the information to a managing device before the completion of the readout of the information by the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:When a command instructing a data reproduction is sent from a host 151 to a reader/writer 150, the reader/writer 150 scans the recording track of an optical card, and reads out a data, and stores it on a buffer memory 162. And it judges whether the transfer of the data to the host side is possible or not, and when it is decided as possible, it stores the data on a memory 168 at the host side, and stores the data to a hard disk 155 from the memory 168. The storage of the data to the disk 155 is performed in a vacant time at the host side while the data is read out by the optical card. And at a reader/ writer side, the above process is repeated until the transfer of all of the data to be objected to read is completed.</p> |
