PURPOSE:To supply ink without causing bubbling by a method in which a doctor blade is pressingly contacted with the downside of the periphery of a roller with large numbers of fine ink traps, and an ink-filling space is provided between the doctor blade as a back wall and an other wall. CONSTITUTION:A doctor blade 26 is pressingly contacted with the downside of the periphery of a roller 10 with large numbers of fine ink traps 10', and an ink- filling space 27 is formed between the doctor blade 26 a rear wall and the other end 16 as a front wall of a supporting base 13 for the doctor blade 26. Ink is supplied to the ink-filling space by a pump 30. Ink on the roller 10 is supplied through a printing roller 12 to the plate cylinder 5.
