PURPOSE:To provide a printer generating little noise and inexpensive, wherein a platen receiving a wire impact force from a printing head or a frame for fixing the platen is formed from a composite ferrite elastic material. CONSTITUTION:By using a composite ferrite elastic material as a material for the platen 3' or the frame 5', vibrations and noises generated at the time of printing are absorbed by the platen 3' or the frame 5'. The composite ferrite elastic material has a vibration-absorbing capability of about 100 times of those of conventional iron or aluminum materials, and accordingly, it is unnecessitated to provide antivibration component parts such as an antivibration material, and it can be contrived to reduce cost through reducing the number of component parts. |
