PRODUCTION OF RESIN COATED METAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a resin-coated metallic product having excellent adhesion and corrosion preventiveness, by coating a primer contg. a specific epoxy compd. and an amine hardener on a metallic surface then melt-sticking by heating polyolefin thereon. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting epoxy resin primer contg. a polyepoxy compd. consisting of a component A which is diglycidyl ether of bisphenol F having 160-190 epoxy equiv. and a component B which is diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A having 400-1,500 epoxy equiv. (5-100wt% of the component A) and an amine hardener is coated on a metallic surface of a steel pipe or the like. After the primer is half or fully cured, polyolefin grafted with ethylenic unsatd. carboxylic acid is melt stuck by heat thereto and is cooled, whereby the resin coated metallic product is obtd.
