PURPOSE:To simply, safely, and exactly operate main- and sub-gates by a method in which two ropes are wound around a winding drum for the main- and sub- gates, and the other ends of both the rops are wound around and fixed to the sub-gate operating drum. CONSTITUTION:When lifting up a main gate 1 and a sub-gate 2 together, a winding drum 5 for the main gate is operated, whereupon a rope 6 and a rope 7 are concurrently wound around the winding drum 5 for the main gate. Since the other ends of both the ropes 6 and 7 are wound around and fixed to the drum 8 for the sub-gate stopped, the gates are wholly lifted up at half the speed of the ropes. Also, when the sub-gate 2 is operated, the drum 8 for operating the sub- gate is turned bilaterally, whereupon the rope 6 is sent out and the rope 7 is wound, and thereby a pulley block 4 is pulled by the rope 7 and lowered, a connecting lever 3 is pushed down, and the sub-gate 2 is pushed down by the lever 3. On the contrary, when the drum 8 for operating the sub-gate is turned to the left, the sub-gate 2 is risen. |
