PURPOSE:To prevent the liquefaction of soil by solidifying the intergranular voids of soil by a method in which the ground to be improved is dried, and a solidifying agent is packed into the voids of soil granules of the ground by a compressor from the surface of ground in such a way as to cause the ground water to restore. CONSTITUTION:Plural deep wells 8 are provided under saturated sandy ground 5 to lower the level 3 of ground water, plural compressor pipes 10 and plural vacuum pipes 11 are erected around the dried ground 5 to be improved, and compressed air is supplied through the compressor pipes 10 and sucked into the vacuum pipes 11. A composition 9, e.g., hydration-solidifying agent, etc., is packed with stream of air into the voids among soil granules in the soil layer and then the level 3 of ground water is restored to solidify the intergranular voids of the soil. |
