PURPOSE:To contrive reduction in switching time of the titled device by a method wherein lead frames are supplied to a lead frame guide part by performing a vertical transfer only, and a lead frame feeding mechanism is provided at the frame guide part, thereby enabling to reduce the number of replacement parts and the parts to be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:An attracting transfer section 37 starts an upward movement in the state wherein the lead frame 13 is attracted and held, and it comes to a stop when it goes up to the prescribed height. Subsequently, when the vacuum state is released and the lead frame 13 is placed on guide rails 11 and 12, said guide rails are closed, they stop in their preliminary state, in which the lead frame 13 is pinched by feeding rollers 29a, 29b, 30a and 30b. By performing the above-mentioned operations, the transfer of the lead frame 13 from a frame stocker 31 to the guide rails 11 and 12 is completed, and a request signal from a feeder part is waited here. When th signal is inputted, a motor 28 is started, and the lead frame 13 is moved out to the specified position. When the lead frame is moved from the guide rails 11 and 12 and the start signal is inputted, the above-mentioned operation is repeated, and the lead frame 13 is successively fed to the guide rails 11 and 12 from the frame stocker 31. |
