PURPOSE:To reduce a ring block rate by using an idle time slot on a highway effectively to attain communication between subscribers. CONSTITUTION:A call signal from a subscriber A is sent to a highway HW0 by a time slot TSi, the time slot TSi is converted into a time slot TSj by a time slot exchanging circuit TSC and the call signal from the subscriber A is transmitted from a highway HW2 to a subscriber D. A call signal from the subscriber D is sent by a time slot TSj on a highway HWn, the time slot TSj is converted into the time slot TSi by the circuit TSC and sent to the highway HW2 and the call signal from the subscriber D is transmitted to the subscriber A. Even if only the time slot TSi on the highway HW0 is idle and the time slot TSi on the highway HWn is in using, mutual communication is attained by converting the time slots with a time slot converter TC if another time slot, TSj e.g., on the highway HWn is idle. |
