PURPOSE:To improve the processing ability of a CPU by controlling input/output (I/O) trunks by a charging pulse repeating start/stop signal from a signal reception distributer in a time division telephone exchange system. CONSTITUTION:A time division switch TDSW7 accommodates circuits 8, 9 through an outgoing trunk OGT4 and an incoming trunk ICT5 and controls the setting of a channel through a switch controlling device 6 in accordance with an indication from a CPU1. In accordance with a charging pulse repeating start/ stop signal from the CPU1, a charging pulse repeating circuit MPR30 in the signal reception distributor SRD3 controls a driving circuit DRV32 and starts/ stops repeating to the specified ICT5 by a charging pulse from the specified OGT4 which is obtained through a scanning circuit SCN31. The SCN31 and the DRV32 also transmit/receive a trunk signal between the OGT4 and ICT5 by direct control from the CPU1. |
