PURPOSE:To execute efficiently edit-processing by comparing a magnetic disk in which the lastest program group and an additional program group are stored, with a magnetic tape having a program group to which a program identifier is provided. CONSTITUTION:A new/old discriminating part 5 retrieves a generation control file read from a magnetic disk 3, by labels of magnetic tapes MT1, MT2, compares a date and time of each processed time, and discriminates which is new contents. In case when the tape MT2 stores older contents than MT1, the tapes MT1, MT2 becomes an input side tape and an output side tape, respectively. In this case, the latest program group to be replaced and an additional program group are stored in the disk 3, the tape MT1 has a program group which is edited before and to which a progam identifier is provided, respectively, and they are compared with an edit-processing function part 8. In this way, the latest contents are stored automatically in the magnetic tape in which old contents are stored. |
