A carriage 1 mounted on wheels 2 supports a turntable 4 mounted rotatably with respect to this carriage. The turntable bears a spool 7 on which a flexible sheath 8 is rolled up which is flattened where it comes out of the spool by two pressing rollers 9-10 of which one is motorised. The sheath 8 is inflated by means of a pressurised fluid via a flexible channel 22 coming out of a roller device 23. Grooved rollers 25-26 guide the inflated sheath. An apparatus 16 mounted at the end of the sheath 8 can be manoeuvred in the direction of raising or lowering and can be orientated angularly by causing the turntable 4 to rotate by means of a pinion 5 and a toothed ring gear 3 fixed to the carriage 1.
