PURPOSE:To obtain a color image by heat transferring a hydrophilic dye released by heat development to an image receiving material contg. a mordant. CONSTITUTION:A layer contg. photosensitive silver halide, an org. silver salt as an oxidizing agent, a hydrophilic binder and a reducible dye providing substance releasing a hydrophilic diffusible dye is formed on a support. The dye providing substance is represented by the general formula, wherein G is hydroxyl or a group giving hydroxyl by hydrolysis such as acetoxyl, propionyloxy or other acyloxy group, Col is a dye or a group giving a dye, and R is alkyl or an aromatic group. |
